Services
Blackburn North/Nunawading Uniting Congregations understand that people worship and engage with God in different ways and therefore provide alternative forms of worship in order to connect with God in a way that you feel comfortable. These worship services vary from our traditional Sunday morning worship to Messy church, an all-age contemporary form of worship; to Reflect and Refresh which allows us to connect through meditation and stillness. Our traditional Sunday service is held at 9.45 AM. Sunday school for (0-12) is held every second and fourth Sunday of the month. This is a great opportunity for children to learn about the stories in the Bible and a chance to seek understanding about questions they may have about God, Jesus and the Bible.
Read about our previous minister,
Reverend Lauleti Tu'inauvai, who has taken up placement at Ballarat Central Uniting Church in 2019.
Hi,
My name is Lauleti Tu'inauvai, the Uniting church minister at BNNUC. I originated from the Kingdom of Tonga and have been at this placement since September, 2014. My former placements were in Rural Victoria in the towns of Coleraine, Casterton and Cavendish; South-East Melbourne in Endeavour Hills and Dandenong North and now I am working in the heart of the City of Whitehorse, Nunawading. I have been a Minister of the Word for over 13 years and I am aware t that there are many ways to proclaim in both words and deeds, the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our world today. I am also aware of the diversity of our people, our culture, our theological understanding and our faith experiences and the need for the church to embrace and respond to these aspects in our society and how the Gospel of Jesus Christ relates to these matters.
